My Portfolio- Requirement


Managing my portfolio is one of the most requested features of the site. We definitely wanted to take this on priority but when we do we wanted to give lot of value to the end user. Basic portfolio management is something that lots of other sites provide and it does not make sense to replicate and add in the crowd.

But the wait is over now, we have started finalizing the requirement and are at initial design/planning stage. We intend to do

Create a sub-site called my.TopStockResearch.com
1. Allow Users to create a portfolio with stocks of their choice
2. Daily profit and loss calculation
3. Portfolio valuation
4. Allow users to customize myEquity page. Here users will be able to select sections of all 8-10 of stock research sections into one customized page.
5. Ability to add screener of their choice. Book mark commonly used screener in the dashboard.
6. Some more flexibility on stock screening.
7. Custom variables for the chart, including indicators, duration, chart size etc. These charts will be generated on daily basis.
8. Save template of Chart configuration.
9. View all comments on the equity at common place.
10. Post a comment, question on any equity of the portfolio from one place.
11. Create a group and share opinion.
12. Become an analyst. Post your comments as an expert on stocks you research. Your research may contain, customized charts, sections of equity that you want to share, your valuable inputs. You control what you want to share.
13. Back testing tool.
