Feedback on Custom Screener of Stocks
Technical Stock Screener with choice of 100+ Filters, 1000+ Options
Custom Screener of stocks is the most comprehensive compilation of all our work in last many years into one single screen with objective of providing you choice of all the screeners at once by using with latest web technologies. We hope this would save lot of your research time and you get desired result in a single page.
Combining such features into user friendly tool is never an easy task. The more features we provide the better it is for some of you but also it gets complicated/confusing for some. So, please provide your feedback on its usefulness. As always we strive to add a feature that serves majority of the need even if it means complexity for us.
Ever since we introduced it, we got exceptional review about the same and similar results were shown by our analytical tools but at the same time we have received following very important feedback
1. Ability to save setting. We have not added ability to save screener setting.
2. Screener to complex. We have now added basic version of the screener also.
3. Limitation of search results. Limitation of 50 Records is now relaxed to upto 250 records.
4. Real Time Screener. While real time is still far away, we are working on delayed data by 15-20 mins.
5. Filtering by FNO stocks. We are working on it. Hopefully we will add this criteria and more soon.

Please allow an option to filter stocks on screener based on NSE 50/500 and NSE FNO which will enable us to pick stocks with good liquidity 2. I have a few suggestions to improve "custom screener" further in order of priority. 1. filer criteria to filter stocks by monthly,weekly,daily time buckets for long term trend analysis. 2. Export result to excel sheet. 3. Increase no. of search criteria possible in custom screener. 4. Ability to identify tops and bottoms in a trend(dow theory) 5. Ability to apply criteria in indices NIFTY,BankNifty,NiftyIT etc 6.Search stocks by market cap or ability to search within indices like serach stocks within NIFTY100 or mid cap or small cap indices. Currently large and small cap stocks are mixed in results. |

On Custom screener, U have a choice of first 200 Records after you login. Both the point raised are pretty much there. Please look at feature before raising issue. Because, in that website in overbought/oversold tab, we used to get 14 days RSI details ( which are commonly used in Charts ) instead of 30 days RSI details. Secondly, in MYTSr / Custome Screener section there are only 50 Results for Overbought or Oversold or any other particular screener. Therefore many times what happens, stocks with first alphabet A to h or i or j etc. are shown in first 50 results and next alphabet stocks are not shown. To see next alphabet stocks , what to do? |

I understand that you all are working hard. I request 2 things. 1. Delete feature for the Custom Screeners (I see it is a popular demand). 2. Sort feature in any listing. For eg. in Screener listing, we must be able to sort with any of the columns. Suppose I want to sort the result with lowest RSI to the highest. Or, in your SMA Trend listing, I may like to sort with the return column with highest return being at the top. Thank you. |
