Regarding short selling in trading account
Hi Friends,
I am a beginner trader, self learner and like to to technical analysis. I already have a trading account with some broker. But I am not allowed to "Short sell" a stock for more than a day and only intraday short selling is allowed. This limits my trading to only intraday in case of short selling. As per my understanding this type of short selling over multiple days is allowed globally.
I want to know whether there is any broker firm who is allowing this. Please let me know.

Every exchange/jurisdiction/broker have their own rules. There is no global rules.
For best and personal info, call you broker representative. They can provide you with union of three.
Or if you are confident on your analysis, then you may try option or futures. |
